I guess the opening up of the internet media for the GE helps our this generation in understanding and opening up to different perspectives.

Some of the write ups and comments can be very personal, but many of them were written with good thoughts and it's a balanced view.

Although I still see many sub standard oppositions, but the number of good standard oppositions actually increased this year!

每年的這一刻又到了

今年已是我第三次在農曆新年過生日了

今年對很多同年齡的朋友來說是很害怕的一年

但我的害怕卻與他們不一樣

我的害怕其實也不是第一次

我記得我1999，2002，2009，2010有過同樣的害怕，傷心，失望。

說到傷心，我想我哭得最慘的生日是 2002 與 2009 那一年。

這樣的心情說破了都是為了朋友

我想大家的心中都有一個朋友排行榜吧

在這個榜里的朋友應該是自己比較在乎，比較親，感情很好的好朋友

我心中就有這麼一個排行榜

可能我還很不成熟吧

每年生日快到時

我就會在想今年會有哪些在我榜單的朋友幫我慶祝生日

也就是有這樣高的期待

我的失落感就相對的更大了

他們都是我從 2003 開始結交的好朋友

說得肉麻一點，我想我的青春都給了這一群朋友

從 2009 開始

我對這一群在榜的朋友們開始失去信心

感覺上我們之間的友誼就像斷了線的風箏一樣

飄的遠遠，在也找不會當初的感覺

也就從那一年開始

我對他們不在抱那麼高的期待

開始不再奢望他們會為我這位朋友做點甚麼

我的失望的確降到很低

雖然還是有點失望

但是在我可以負荷的範圍之內

2011呢？

我外表顯得很不在乎

也覺得我完全不會有任何的失落感

有位甜心朋友想幫我辦一個生日派對

但我堅決拒絕她的好意

我對她說她不必費神費力為這些不值得的傢伙把自己搞得那麼的累

但我現在回想起來

我心底是想做一個試驗

給他們最後一次的機會

但結果還是跟2009 與 2010 一樣

無動於衷

我在想

是我對他們不夠好？

還是我根本就從來不在他們的榜單裡面？

我心中已經有個答案

她說我很傻

為甚又再為他們庸人自擾？

我該在意的是那些還在我身旁支持我的好朋友

她說的很對

我為甚麼要如此的鑽牛角尖呢？

我何必要在乎那些不在乎我的人呢？

看開一點吧

Wrapping up 2010

Finally, I am sitting down infront of my computer and starting to blog! It's been quite a while since I last blogged!

Probably to have a good start to 2011, let me have a brief recap on the major events in 2010!

2010 had been good and bad to me. I shan't talk about the bad since it's all over! More good will come in 2011, I deeply believe!

As for the good part, I am lucky to be able to visit new places (for work of course)!

The very beautiful small island in Auckland, Waiheke Island. Beautiful!

A pretty winery with good wines!

During the Mid Autumn Festival, I was in Hong Kong for work. My parents came over for hols and here we are @ Macau!

Though this is the nth time I am in Hong Kong, but it is the first time that I am there for work.

One of the pleasant surprise work trip, Bangalore. Difficult workload, but fantastic food!

Also, 2010 was a year full of concert!! There were a few concerts that I were unable to catch, but nevertheless, at least I still manage to catch many of them!

Jolin @ Taipei!!!! This is the most awesome and mind blowing concert that I ever watched! Thumbs and legs up!

Ding dang!! What a pair of iron lungs she has!

Rene is definitely not the best singer around. But she uses her heart to sing and I can always feel deeply in her songs. One of the very good concert in 2010!

Rainie's concert was a pleasant surprise! Not only she can sing pretty well, she can dance pretty good! It's a very 用心 concert!

This is the 3rd time I am watching Jay's Concert. Better than the previous one, but I still feel this is a very busy concert. He was trying to do too many things at one go and the whole concert lost it's focus and quality. Very not impressed.

The worst concert that I attended in 2010, and probably the 2nd worst in my life - Coco Lee. She should probably change it to a talk show instead of a concert. Yak non stop. Waste of my money.

Hail the queen! Sammi is back again! After the much acclaimed concert in Hk, it finally arrived in Singapore! I enjoyed myself totally!!

What a good way to start 2010 with AMIT! No frails concert. Only 2-3 sets of costumes with continuous singing! Love it to the max!

2010 had been a very busy year! Not much time for holidays, except to be able to take time off for a short Krabi Trip, and year end countdown @ Taipei!

I miss the Sheraton Krabi pool. Relaxing, tranquil and zen. Love it to the max!
The few not very adventurous us attempting to do snorkeling.

And here's a Sayonara to 2010 and bravely welcome 2011 to come!!!

And next is to seriously think of my 2011 resolutions, and of course, it's time to set goals for my life. =D

Life has been quite difficult in India so far.

Other than not having good non Indian food (all the indian foods are good!), bathing in a swimming pool (cos of the high chlorine content in their water), not very fun colleagues, most importantly is I am overwhelmed with work!

There are so many things to do, from the previous till current till future audits. sianz.

I think i spent too much talking to the business groups that I totally have no time to do my own testings. Sighs.

I actually don't feel like going for sightseeing this coming saturday.. but haiz.. shall see how. headache now..

Although Sex and the city 2 may not be the best movie in this season, it is still a movie that everyone must watch.

Putting all the dramas, sex, fashion, brands, problems aside, the friendship of the four soulmates is still as touching as ever.

When Samantha got into trouble, all the friends just jumped up and hurried to help without further questions.

And I must say these are the real soulmates. Though everyone has their own life to run, when one requires help, the others will definitely help out without probing too much. This is what real friendship is.

Been in Sydney for 1 week. I just simply love the weather, and the 熱情that the aussies gave. =)

However, work has not been too smooth. Other than I am struggling with my given work, I have to teach my new, yet not so new colleague on her work.

The worse thing is that she is quite stubborn, and I always have this feeling that she is not listening to what I taught her. I seriously wonder how much have she absorbed. Haiz. It's tough, but I just have to teach her and ensure that all she does not do her work too wrong.

1 more week. Hope things will turn out well and I can complete my work on time. =)

These seagulls @ the fish market are damn F*** irritating! They attacked our food on our way to our table, and while we are still eating! #$%^&*() and not to mention, they are noisy!

Look @ the clear blue sky! And someone writing something on the sky to congrats the 17yo AU girl who sailed round the world!

I guess the workers decided to open one of the dustbin so that the seagulls can go and eat. But the irritating Ibis forbid the seagulls to eat! Look @ so many poor seagulls on the floor!

Night view from Darling Harhbour. I just simply love city lights! it makes me happy, but i guess it has it's tinge of sadness.

This is the apple flagship store along George Street! And OMG! They have a super sophisticated invoicing system such that the sales person just need to use a handheld iphone lookalike device and scan the price, swipe the credit card and print out the invoice @ a near buy table! gosh!

1 more week to Singapore. Dreading, yet looking forward. hehehe.

Oh My Oh My~~

While I was surfing the net while talking to my brother, I came across these 2 bags which I rate it as "to die for" bags!

Gosh..

BU the price is too scary for me to buy it..

BUT still, I really heart these 2 bags!

This is the navy colour Hermes Marwari bag! It comes in 2 sizes and you wouldn't want to know how much it costs. =x

The 2nd one is this Gucci bag. I think it's not full leather (as I do not understand french) and it might be nylon mixed. But it's just so chic looking! Love it! However, you wouldn't want to know how much it costs too. =x

Hmms.. maybe i shall get this makeshift bag instead.. But seriously, I do like this bag. It is sleek looking, and yet quite user friendly and practical. Most importantly, the price is quite affordable...

Perhaps I can buy the above bags after tonight's 4D?

While I was searching for things to buy in Milan as my brother is going there for work for a week next week, i came across this japanese website where it blogs many of the latest sneakers released!

And of course, I hearted quite a few of the latest release!

Shall check it out whether it is sold in Singapore or not.

I actually like this Nike Aina Chukka. I think it looks sleek enough and not too casual too. Good for my friday work wear!

終於看完了“下一站，幸福”！

這部劇真的還不賴喔。

只是到了後面當光曦找回記憶後故事有點拖拖拉拉。

但我個人覺得這部劇厲害的地方就是它在告訴所有的人當一個人說謊的時候並不是因為不愛了。

相反的，是因為太愛了而選擇說謊。

但是在選擇說謊的情況下，很有可能會造成更多的誤會與不解。

所以下一次當你深愛的人說謊時，不要一味的責怪。

試著去了解背後是否藏著另外一個被掩飾了的原因吧。

To be frank, i was not impressed with this play. In fact, I find it rather boring as the things that they talked about, the way the stage is, their movements, their tai ci it's so 老. And the rock and the theme didn't gel till 天衣無縫. A bit trying hard. The singers were so-so except for 三娘 (played by Celine)! Only she can sing and reached all the high notes beautifully, and her voice is very smooth and soothing to the audience, unlike the 狐狸 sings so forcefully and without any emotions.

Well, on the whole, it's just a mediocre production. I am looking forward to December Rain, with my favourite Kit Chan in it!! Woot~~

Finally, the long awaited concert! Sammi Love Mi 2010 concert finally is in Singapore!!!

I find that she really regained alot of her energy ever since she came out of her depression!

Her singing is much powerful than in the past. She can dance and sing at the same time, without feeling tired, unlike her 2007 concert. She is practically in her tip-top condition this time!

Though bulk of the songs are almost the same as the dvd (Except 1-2 songs which she did not sing), it's really a pleasure to watch the live performance!! But of course, this concert cannot compare to hong kong. There are much lesser props here. The only thing i cannot understand is that why she has to sing "Last Christmas"? This song was sung in Hong Kong during the Christmas period. Is it just because Chen Huan Ren is a Singaporean, and since she had sung this song with him in HK, she just sing it for this time round? Well, perhaps there's lack of a sincerity from her. Anyway, below are the highlight of the show!

Finally, after hearing so much about this restaurant from shu, i went to try this on sunday! They serve mainly yakitoris and sashimis! Quite authentic, and quite pricey too. But the quality is good! However, I still prefer Kazu to here just for a simple reason. The beef in Kazu is much more tender than here! And I think that's the most important factor, yeah? Hehehe.. anyway here's the pics for the food!

TGIF! Finally, the Green Belt training came to an end. Yesterday was a very torturious day. The boring course, and tedious project added on to the tired me. The whole day was mentally draining... *yawnz*. but luckily, we still manage to cook up something to present.. wahahaha.. below are my acting bz colleagues, and of cse, the acting bz me.. :P The feeling is really like the project days during Uni days. Though i hate it, but i kinda of miss it. =p

But the after work activities were good. Ha. Met up with Best Fren and sweetie for dinner @ this lousy place called District 10 (they had very bad service! Please do not visit there). The unsatisfied us went over to PS cafe @ Palais for desserts next. Well, once again, the greedy us ordered a dessert each to. But their serving is so big that we were too full to even walk! we were @ the brink of puking the food out lo.. and it doesnt help that i ordered a GIANT COFFEE ECLAIR. Seriously, this is the first time that I saw such a big eclair. *Puke*

It's sat!!! and half the day is gone le! argh..................... shall go and sleep more first before going.. i am very deprived of sleep. =p

忐忑的心

雖然我每次都擺著一副毫不在乎的樣子, 我其實不是一個很喜歡那種忐忑不安的心情.
雖然我是相當喜歡驚喜, 但是有很多事情我還是喜歡知道結局是甚麼.
可能是我對自己缺乏很多自信心, 所以才會有此刻七上八下的心情.
未來是甚麼,沒有人能夠預測. 但是我真的很想知道我的未來是甚麼.

Wow! It's almost 2 months since i last updated my blog. I almost forgot my login ID and password! hahah..

Anyway life has been quite good for the last 2 months(except for the Jakarta trip).

I went to Sydney for 2 weeks in Aug, and 1/2 week in Tasmania for holidays. That entire Aussie trip was just fantastic, with lotsa of steaks and wines and snow!! But of cse, I have to pay a price to it and that's to carry 2 救生圈s with me back to SG. =( i am still trying to get rid of that 救生圈s =p

Oh. I had my first long driving experience in Sydney! I drove from Pymble all the way to Hunters Valley! It's a continuous driving for 1 hr @ 110km/hr and I think it's a very shiok experience... However, I think I was @ a point where I am seeing double images... Quite scary.. But luckily, nothing happened to anyone of us =p. I really think i have difficulty keeping myself awake at many occassions. hmmmz.

We bought 21 bottles of wines @ Hunter valley (a few are to bring back to SG, while most of it are to consume over there). And we did a stoopid thing that is to buy a carton (12 bottles) of clean skin cellar door white wine back to City. There were so many bottles that we had to play Indian poker in Tasmania just to clear it off!

Below is just a pic of the sydney harbour bridge! Weather is just damn perfect. I miss Aussie while I am writing this.

Next trip was Jakarta. Nothing fantastic to talk about except for my India Indian colleague who drank quite alot that he went onto the bar top to dance with the ladies. But none of the ladies wants to get near him. hahaahha. =x Ok, I shan't be evil. But the sight is really quite 怵目驚心. Bleah! Other than the good Indonesian cusine, the rest are just pure boredom. :p

As for SG, things are progressing well in SG. For the first time, I am actually quite happy to be in Singapore. haha... I doubt it's the fact that I am tired of travelling. But probably it's the boring Jakarta trip which makes me learn to appreciate SG.

I have many things that I want to do before my next trip. I want to KTV, I want to play squash, I want to play Tennis, I want to club, I want to go Sentosa, I want to watch Sister Keepers, I want to do many many other things. I shall see how many i can accompish by 18 Oct 2009. =p

Alright, I think it's time to sleep. Turning 30 SOON so it's important to have my beauty sleep. hahaha.. good night!

Just received news that I will be going to Jakarta for 2 weeks for work instead of Bangkok in September 2009 cos the colleague who is suppose to go has to stay in Singapore to prepare his wedding. =(

Demoralised now. Colleague who is going wih me + nature of the work + lack of food and entertainment within 方圆五百里 = lethal combi. Oh not to mention bombs? Haiz...

Australia, Taipei and New Zealand cannot redeem the fact that I am gong to Jakarta. Haiz...

bali day 1

finally arrived at this famous bali.. staying in a villa which no one heards b4 in seminyak.. it's quite good.. secluded and quiet... ya.. a place that's secluded and quiet.. it says alot about the accesibility.. haha.. but heng i got my indonesian cousins who will just do all the talking.. 1st time no need to work hard for itenary feels good!

but neevrtheless, the villa is indeed quite good.. clean.. and private.. so I quite like the villa.. though i think i still prefer that usd700/night 3 bedroom villa.. =p

well, actually the whole place looks like phuket + batam + tanjung pinang.. so.. nothing surprises me.. (not even the food cos I am damn used to eat Indonesian food). and what disappointed me is there was not sun!!! sky was covered with dark clouds and eventually it rained. so by the time we reached ku deta, we could only see thick dark clouds. so.. we adjourned to find our next dinner place.. and in the end, due to the rain, we ended up at a place that no one visits, and it tasted so so only.. sobs..

so our conclusion is to dun think too much, just head to the one that is crowded with ang mohs.. that should not go wrong! hahaha.. yes, we are still afraid of bombing... but then, the crowded places are those good and nice places... so.. think we will still ignore that "danger"

oh.. the beach is good. love the sea, and the strong waves.. how i wish i can just directly dived into the kuta sea! but i didnt really enjoy the other parts of kuta. it's super crowded (reminds be of patong beach in phuket). not too good.. and many shops that selling brands that seems real but i have my reservations at them.. hahaha.. so in the end i didnt manage to buy any.. but i still want a cap to complete my look for this trip!! argh!! hope I can get to buy it tomorrow!

planned our trip for tomorrow and we chosen our dinner place already. hope it will be good and hope the sun is shining bright tomorrow!!! till then good night to all of you!

Yesterday, my friend forwarded me a link for a job posting. It's an internal auditor posting in Coca-Cola. Their requirement is 100% international travel for 36 months.

Seriously speaking, I am very very tempted to give it a try. Get away from Singapore, get away from everything around me, except for my family. Yes, the only hesistant that I have is that I will not be able to see my family members for 3 yrs?

hmmm..... i am still wondering if I should apply for it... hmmmmmmmmmmm...........

hongkong trip 2009 part 1

wahahaha.. ok.. i am lazy. it took me so long to upload the pics! But well, I am bored in the lousy PJ Hilton and dun really want to start working leh.. haiz.. so might as well do some blogging!

Well, HK was fun and yet tiring... i think none of us felt recharged. but we ate and shopped lotsa of things wor! It's really a happy thing to return to HK after so many years. But well, this trip suddenly made me realised, hk stuffs are not cheap! be it shopping and eating (except some stuffS)! So, must really open our eyes real wide to find good deals!

Yeah! Finally we reached HK Airport! Queueing up for the ji chang kuai xian.

This is our tiny hotel room! Though the room is tiny, and service very rude (what's new in hk), we still like this hotel cos of it's strategic location!

Hurrily went to meet up with Yixin, who brought us to 銖記! fantastic food at raesonable price!

Very nan chi de char shao bao!!!!! char shao only 2 strands!And their hygine has big problem! the bowls that they served us has the residue of the glutinous rice left from the previous customer!! THAT'S HOW UNHYGENIC THIS PLACE IS!

外冷內熱 shao mai !!! it's really amazing how their business can be so thriving!!

Though we were quite full, we still need something to satisfy us! So off we went to search for this egg tart (which is just near to that silly dim sum place. LUCKILY!) I raelly really realli love the egg tarts! it really made our day wor!

Beams! My favourite brand of tshirt! wahhaha.. found the shop, and shopped quite a bit there! though i think it's more ex than in jap, but well, singapore dun have! so.. yeah.. happy me.. haha.

the rest of the food are just SO SO though. but i like the yuan yang.. wahaha.. a yuan yang a day makes gb a happy man!

Back to Nokia again...

Finally... FINALLY!! Finally I got rid of my HTC diamond and now back to the arms of Nokia N75!!!

Yes, I know many of you been criticising me that I am a spendthrift cos my HTC diamond is just less than 1 year old. But frankly, I cannot stand the diamond. Here are more complains:
1. It's so laggy (even after I tweak the functions).
2. And the touch screen is quite insensitive that it caused a lot of trouble for me.
3. Moreover, it always fails me when I have urgent need to HP.
4. I had an accident while using it.
5. I miss keypad phones.

Most importantly, last saturday something happened which forced me to hurry change the phone. I smsed my friend that I will sms him when I board the bus so that he can get ready. But when I boarded the bus, my HP just auto on and off. It just simply cannot go to the home page, and at a point in time, the phone died and cannot be started. I was sooooooo fed up especially I didnt know how to contact my friend without my hp!! I really felt like alighting at one hp shop and immediately buy one. But I didnt. I decided to go to the bus stop to see if he is smart enough to wait for me @ the bus stop.

Wahaha.. and indeed! It's quite conincidental that he was waling his dog while waiting for me at the bus stop cos his dad is not home yet! phew... and miracously, my HP revived immediately I got off the bus. damnz! but this event actually triggered me to hurry trade in while the trade in value is still high.

So.. Tada!! here's my new phone that caught my eye!!

So how's it? Cool right? tsk tsk..so far I am quite happy with this fone.. hopefully it will not disappoint the more I use this fone.. =)

aiyo.... totally forgot about blogging manz... It was quite a hetic period for me for the past few weeks. HK, PH, then now I am rushing my work so that I can prepare for my next audit in Malaysia which is just less than 2 weeks away! damnz.

HK trip was super duper tiring, but fun! will post the pics up soon manz..

as for PH, it was kinda of a rush deadline. So other than enjoying the free flow of wines at the club lounge at the hotel, I didn't do anything much other than work. =( but at least i discovered that Manila is not as dangerous as what I think! And there are new places that we didnt explore the other time which I think I can explore the next time I am there..

and I am SO NOT LOOKING forward to the next destination - Petaling Jaya. I really rather go Philippines than to go PJ. PJ has nothing at all... boring with heavy traffic. Though the hotel is an international brand, but it's really like a 3 star motel instead. yucks! I am now trying to find another hotel in KL so that we can move to KL over the weekend that we are there.

And haiz... my leg is crippled againz. =(
TCM said that it's kinda of accumulated for a long period of time, which causes pain at the base of my left foot when I walk. But I think it's the cushioning of my lousy pair of leather shoes which caused this problem.. haiz.. time to spend money on shoes againz! anyway, I am at home these 2 days and working from home. Work is piling up and I have to pia quite fast to finish my stuffs. Hopefully I can hurry recover before this long weekend (i.e TOMORROW!). lotsa of activites lined up for this weekend that I MUST RECOVER!!!

曾以一首「葉子」在台灣廣受矚目的歌手阿桑（本名黃嬿璘），6日早晨因為癌症病逝新店慈濟醫院，得年34歲，消息傳出，曾經同屬同一家唱片公司的S.H.E、動力火車都很震驚，好友張智成甚至崩潰痛哭。

本名黃嬿璘的歌手阿桑，兩年前檢查出淋巴癌，後來癌細胞轉移成乳癌末期，沒想到才剛過完34歲生日，卻傳出6日清晨病逝的消息，消息傳出，曾是同門的S.H.E和動力火車都相當驚訝，透過唱片公司表示，阿桑離開華研唱片之後，這幾年和她並沒有太多聯繫，只知道阿桑轉戰大陸發展，沒想到會聽到這個噩耗，心情很難過。而好友張智成反應則相當激烈，當場崩潰痛哭，無法置信。
阿桑曾經待過藝工隊，也短暫唱過PUB，有豐富的現場演唱經驗，後來在資深製作人汪一平發掘之後就辭去演唱的工作專心準備出片，在籌備等待發片的期間，為了維持生活，也當過律師事務所的總機與百貨公司的客服播音小姐，出道後因為演唱電視劇「薔薇之戀」片尾曲「葉子」而廣受注目，總共發行過兩張專輯。

當初出道時之所以取名為「阿桑」，是因為唱片公司認為阿桑的歌聲很滄桑，只是沒想到她的人生也如此坎坷，年紀輕輕就撒手人寰，讓人不勝唏噓。

哦！刚从演唱会回来！

这场演唱会真的是太精彩了，太棒了！

绮贞的现场演唱实力真的实在太强了。。。

听她的演唱会真的是一件很享受的事情。

现场没有很华丽的舞台。只有她那干净清脆的声音娓娓道出每一首歌的故事。

观众在前半段是非常的守规矩。

与绮贞的互动也非常的少。我只能听到坐在最前排fan club 们的尖叫声。

但当绮贞下台与观众们有了互动后，全场几乎失控了！

我们几乎是站着听完下半场的演唱会！

哦。真的好棒哦！

我们还安可了四次耶。真得蛮厉害的。哈哈。。

到现在，我脑海里还在重复着她的歌曲。

哦！忘了说，她演唱了我最喜欢的 “会不会”！！！！

真的是太满足了！！
